Welcome to Northern Beaches State High School. I am Ms Robin Sprott and have been Principal of this great school for 12 years. Our students have high expectations of themselves and others and aspire to achieve as global citizens. I look forward to welcoming you into our school community.
At Northern Beaches State High School, we place the core value of respect at the centre of all we say and do. This means respect for ourselves, respect for others, respect for our school and respect for our wider community. It is our firm belief, as an inclusive school, that in order to be global citizens in today’s world, you must first be able to respect that world and those within it.
Our core value of responsibility demonstrates our willingness to help students grow into capable, confident and successful adults. Whether in the classroom, on the stage or in the sporting field, our students are encouraged to take responsibility for everything they say and do.
The ability to be able to face adversity and continue pushing forward is one that is often undervalued. Here, at Northern Beaches State High School, our students are encouraged to grit their teeth and push forward to achieve their goals. Becoming resilient takes time, however we believe that with the right guidance from our incredible school community, every student can succeed. All it takes is a little resilience.
